Turkish Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, in his first comment on the Russian plane dropped “Let the world know, the whole world, it is in violation of our airspace, whoever he is, it will be our response to it in the same way. This is our legitimate right to defend“.
This statement comes after Turkish fighter was able to drop the Sukhoi 24 jet belonging to the Russian Air Force, on the border with Syria, after violating Turkish airspace despite prior warnings.
Earlier this morning Davutoglu instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued to discuss developments on the border with Syria, with NATO and the United Nations and the countries concerned.
Davutoglu also instructed to take all measures against any violations of the Turkish border, during a recent security meeting, which was held under his chairmanship in Jannagaaa Palace Turkish capital, Ankara
